Some of the most comforting words in the scriptures are in
Luke 24:5-6: “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but it
risen.” Our very reason for existence—to
return to live with our Father in Heaven—was made possible that day. Christ paid for our sins in the Garden of
Gethsemane and again on the cross, and on the third day He rose. I know that He lives, and I know that because
of His sacrifice I will live again. He
is our Savior and our Redeemer, and it is only through Him that we can be
saved. Knowing this and following Him has
given me the greatest joy in my life.
Remember, “One of the great consolations of this Easter
season is that because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path utterly alone, we
